Heather LeBlanc, President:
Heather LeBlanc is passionate about the sport of bodybuilding and fitness and is dedicated to the NBPFA Association being a dedicated athlete, volunteer and promoter for the past 12 years. As a first-time competitor in 2004, she started out as an amateur athlete competing at both the Provincial and National level as a Figure competitor. She then began facilitating information seminars which quickly became a huge success. What started out as 12 competitors sitting around her dining room table discussing
competition prep and procedures turned into 28 seminars 9 years all with substantial attendance from all four Atlantic Provinces. Bringing in IFBB Olympian’s like Nicole Wilkins, Nathalia Melo, Amanda Latona, Kai Greene, Dana Linn Bailey, Flex Lewis, Natalie Waples, Ashley Kaltwasser, Sadik Hadzovic and Leah Johnson she’s gone above and beyond member’s expectations. Heather’s promotion of these seminars has assisted in the growth of the New Brunswick association, giving them the confidence, Preparation, information and planning tools required to prepare for competition. Heather has been the Director of Seminars and Promotional Events in NB since 2014 on the NBPFA Executive Committee. Her key role has always been to assist, support, educate and direct NB members on where to start and how to prepare themselves for provincial or national level competitions. Heather has developed very strong marketing and social media skills utilizing these skills to ensure that members are well informed and up to date with announcements, current affairs and changes to policies or procedures.
Heather has been a provincial level judge for NBPFA since 2007 and attained her National Judging status in 2014, judging CBBF national events in 2015. Heather is the co-promoter of the Atlantic Classic Championships every spring bringing back the “fun” part of competing and camaraderie for the athletes of all four Atlantic Provinces. Heather will also co-promote for the first time ever, the IFBB World Qualifier this coming June at Casino NB. Heather looks forward to leading the NBPFA as your new President with the utmost respect and integrity.

As well, Jean is proud to have incorporated a special invitational bodybuilding division at the 2016 Atlantics called the Gladiator Showdown which was a huge success.
